Tilapia raw material is tight and prices keep rising, so many processing facilities cannot currently give a quote. We continue to ship containers of black tilapia fillets, frozen IQF and packed in 15 lb bulk cartons under the customer’s own label.

ToggleWhy Importers Are Struggling to Get Tilapia Offers
When raw material is scarce, processors often cannot confirm price or volume, so they stop quoting. Importers then find it hard to get offers, while their customers in the destination country still expect product.

Importers who secure a supplier early can keep serving those customers. A confirmed source matters most when others are still waiting for quotes.
Tilapia Fillet Sizes and Packing Specifications
- Species: black tilapia (Oreochromis mossambicus)
- Form: fillets
- Fillet sizes: 3/5, 5/7, 7/9 oz
- Net weight: 100%, 90%, 80%
- Freezing: IQF
- Packing: bulk, 15 lbs per box
- Labeling: customer’s label
- Processing: HACCP and BRC certified facilities

The three size grades let importers choose the fillet size that suits their own channel. The net weight option is agreed before production, so the declared weight on the carton is clear to both sides.
With IQF, each fillet is frozen individually. Fillets stay separate inside the bulk carton, so buyers can take out only the quantity they need.
Whole GS Tilapia Also Available

Besides fillets, we supply whole GS (gutted, scaled) black tilapia at 140 g up per piece, also frozen IQF, packing bulk 15lbs or 10kgs per box.

Inspection and Private Label Packing
All tilapia is processed in HACCP and BRC certified facilities. Before shipment, we check the product against the specification agreed with the buyer.

Packing under the customer’s label lets importers sell under their own brand. Label details are agreed before production, so the carton that arrives matches the order.
